About Smith Micro's Affiliate Program
Smith Micro - Smith Micro Systems Division - has a complete online store offering buyers a full range of internet and desktop software utilities for Windows and Mac. Our affiliate program is available at no cost through oneNetworkDirect and Commission Junction.
Our Affiliate Program
As a Smith Micro Affiliate, you will earn 25% commission on every purchase of Smith Micro products your site visitors make through your affiliate links. If your visitor doesn't make a purchase at the time of clicking on your links, you still earn commission for any purchase they make at the Smith Micro online store within 45 days. This is valid as long as the user has not cleared their cookies.
Payment is made to you monthly through oneNetworkDirect and Commission Junction in accordance with their specifications. Your commission has to exceed $25 or it will carry over to the next pay period. You can access your site's affiliate progress at any time in your affiliate account in oneNetworkDirect or Commission Junction.

Once you have made your decision, all you have to do is click on the Signup link for the network, and complete an online signup form. By applying to become a Smith Micro Affiliate, you agree to the terms and conditions of our agreement with the affiliate program administrators, oneNetworkDirect and Commission Junction, including:
• Using only the Smith Micro graphic banners and text links that are provided to you at Commission Junction.
• Not altering or changing the links or banners in any way, understanding that doing so will affect Commission Junction's ability to track sales and reward commissions.
• Not storing Smith Micro banners/text links obtained at Commission Junction on personal Web site servers -- understanding that doing so will prevent Smith Micro from successfully swapping old promotional banners for new ones.
• That your site will continue to adhere to the Affiliate Site Requirements mentioned below.

Smith Micro offers a percentage commission rate 25% on all sales of Smith Micro software.

All sites that apply to our program will be reviewed by our team.
Site Criteria for Review Includes:

Affiliates act as independent, online salespeople. They choose which businesses - merchants - will be of interest to their web site visitors and place their links on their site. When a visitor makes a purchase from the merchant, the affiliate earns a commission. Top

- Is my web site eligible for the affiliate program?
We welcome both personal and e-business sites to our affiliate program. However, we require that web sites must not contain pornographic or sexually explicit material; material that is defamatory or libelous; promote hate, violence, or illegal activities; and does not violate intellectual copyrights, trademarks, or any other proprietary right of Smith Micro or any third party. Smith Micro reserves the right to terminate an affiliate relationship at any time.
- What's my commission, and how often do I get paid?
You will earn 25% for every purchase that is completed by a visitor of your site. A purchase occurs when a visitor from your site buys something through the Smith Micro online store after clicking on your affiliate links and Digital River (our online commerce partner) fulfills the order. You will receive monthly payments from the affiliate network you join, in accordance with their specifications (Please visit oneNetworkDirect at www.onenetworkdirect.com, or Commission Junction at www.cj.com for details).
- How do I get the links to put on my site?
As a member of the Smith Micro affiliate program, Smith Micro affiliate links are ready and waiting for you in your affiliate interface. Just select the links that best suit your web site and follow the directions to install them. Using the Smith Micro links from your affiliate network is the only way for you to receive credit for sales, and thereby earn commissions.
- Can I change and update my links?
Yes, please do! Smith Micro will send you an email notice when new banners get posted in your affiliate interface. Just choose your new link and follow the directions to install it! If you have a request for a specific link not currently available in your affiliate network, please contact us at allume@digitalriver.com.
- How do I track the sales that have come through my site?
You don't have to track anything - tracking is done automatically through your affiliate network! A 45 day cookie time makes it possible for you to receive commission for any sales taking place in that 45-day period, as long as your site visitors haven't cleared their cookies.
- Are International Affiliates eligible?
Yes, the Smith Micro affiliate program is currently available to affiliates marketing in the US, the UK and Australia. Other countries to follow soon.
- Do you ship internationally and how much does it cost?
Yes, we ship internationally. Smith Micro ships to all countries except those under embargo. International shipping prices vary based upon product weight, dimension, and shipping destination. Smith Micro cannot calculate duty/import cost.
- What are Sales Reversals? What are the different types of Reversals?
Sales reversals occur on all unshipped sales at the month's end, and are the result of (1) customer cancellations, (2) orders pending backorder, or (3) pending customer credit. These reversals appear on the reporting page in your affiliate network interface. Transactions reflecting an "other" status may involve products on backorder, or the customer's credit is pending approval. (Merchandise returned by a customer does not result in a sales reversal.)
