User-Defined Shortcuts In Shade

Shade lets you create your own shortcuts!

Here's a cool Shade feature- user-defined shortcuts! In both Shade 7 and Shade 8 you can set up your own keyboard shortcuts to perform actions that you use often. Rotating, copying, entering Modify Mode- if you do it often and Shade doesn't have an easy key to make it happen, you can define one yourself. First, select Shortcut from the View menu-

- then from the Shortcut palette, click the key that you'd like to use to trigger an action, and choose the action from the drop-down menu as shown-

You can even create sets of shortcuts, save them out and load them as you need them. It's that simple!
