Area Renders Check your work with area renders! To do a partial or area render in Shade, you simply hold down the Control key (Option key on Mac) and click and drag in the Image Window (where your rendered image shows up) over the area that you wish to render. Shade will render just that area using the current render settings. For even more rendering fun, to render all items in the desired area, hold down Shift as well as Option/Ctrl.
